Welcome to Sidhbari. After serving the nation for over 35 years in the Indian Army, I sought a different kind of peace—the peace of the Dhauladhar mountains.
My wife and I built this homestay not just as a business, but as a continuation of our service. We wanted to create a sanctuary where international guests and travelers could experience the beauty of Himachal Pradesh without the chaos of tourist traps.
“In the Army, discipline is the foundation of safety. In our home, that discipline ensures you can sleep soundly and relax completely.”
Whether you are here for a month-long writing retreat, a spiritual journey, or simply a quiet holiday, my family and I are here to ensure you feel like family, not a guest.
When we moved here, we realized that long-stay travelers—foreigners, writers, meditators, and remote workers—needed a base that offered stability. A place where the electricity doesn’t flicker, the Wi-Fi is stable, and the host is available to help navigate local life.
Sidhbari Homestay is that base. It is the result of our desire to share the disciplined, organized, and warm lifestyle we love, with the world.
